Terms
Terms, in plain English
Last updated October 9, 2026. Seller: Americana Industries LLC.
This is a summary, not the full legal text. The full Terms of Use and End User License Agreement are shown in the FreeDrop installer, where you must accept them, and are installed with the software as "TERMS OF USE.txt". If anything here differs from them, the installer terms apply.
What you are buying
- DIY Kit: a license to use the FreeDrop software, plus print files and guides for the camera hood. You print the hood and buy a camera yourself.
- Plug & Play: the same software license, plus an assembled hood and camera shipped to you.
- The software is licensed, not sold. The license is personal, for your own use, on computers you own or control. Please do not share or resell the installer, license key or print files.
Your launch monitor and GSPro are your responsibility
- FreeDrop reads numbers off your launch monitor's screen with a camera and sends them to software on your computer. It does not connect to, open or modify your launch monitor or its software.
- You must follow the terms of your launch monitor, its apps and subscriptions, and GSPro. Do not use FreeDrop in a way those terms forbid. We cannot tell you what they allow.
- Fitting a hood may affect your launch monitor's warranty. Check with the manufacturer first.
Independent product
FreeDrop is not made, sponsored, authorised, approved or endorsed by, or affiliated with, Foresight Sports, Bushnell, GSPro or any launch monitor maker or golf simulator publisher. Their names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe compatibility.
Accuracy and safe use
- Optical reading can miss a shot or, occasionally, misread one. Check the numbers. Do not rely on FreeDrop for betting, competitions, handicaps or equipment-fitting decisions.
- 3D-printed parts can soften or warp in heat. Do not leave them in a hot car or direct sun. Fit the hood so it never gets in the way of the club or ball, and keep a safe hitting area.
Updates and support
We may release updates and give support, but a third party's change (for example to GSPro) can stop a feature working and we may not be able to restore it.
Refunds, privacy, liability
- See the refund policy and privacy page.
- The full terms limit our liability to the extent the law allows. Nothing here limits rights you have by law as a consumer.
- Governing law and venue: the laws of the State of Florida, USA.
