Before you write
- No shots reaching GSPro: FreeDrop's window says what is wrong in the bar under its title. The READ ME FIRST file (installed with FreeDrop, and in the Start menu) lists each message and the fix. Most common: GSPro is not set to Open API yet, or no ball is in the hitting zone.
- Camera not found or shows nothing: try another USB port, close apps that use the camera (Teams, Zoom, OBS), and check Windows Settings, Privacy & security, Camera allows desktop apps.
- Screen too dark: turn the launch monitor's screen backlight on.
- Only one or two numbers missing (for example club path or club speed) while the rest come through: this is almost always a reflection on the launch monitor's screen hiding those digits from the camera. Reposition the unit, change the lighting in the room (move or dim a lamp, close a blind, turn off a light shining at the screen), or fit the optional glare cover. FreeDrop alerts you when glare is the problem.
- Windows warns when installing: choose More info, then Run anyway.
Send a support file
In the FreeDrop window press S. It saves a support file on your Desktop. Attach it to your email. It contains the log and small pictures from the camera, and we use it only to help you.
